These violins sound very warm and pleasant. It is easy to produce a nice tone on the Enrico “Student Extra” violins, they are great for beginners up to the end of Grade 4 level.
All instruments are professionally set up. The strings are upgraded to Clarendon Gold, rather than the thin-sounding factory strings, and for another upgrade, we supply a Hidersine Junior rosin.
For the setup work, we fit the pegs since they are not fully fitted in the factory. We lower the nut and make the correct string spacings, refinish the fingerboard, lower the bridge, which is not fit to the final height in the factory, and make the correct string spacings and arch on the bridge. We lubricate the fine tuners so that they always turn easily, and it makes sure that the threads will never strip.
All violins come with free servicing for as long as you own the violins.
These violins have tight grained spruce, maple back and sides with extra flame, and a very good grade of ebony fingerboard and tuning pegs. The outfit comes in a spacious ESE case with extra room for a shoulder rest and other accessories too.
